Q: I want to send the balloon in a box to a friend anonymously, is this possible?
A: Yes! This is possible as we do not send any information other than your message card to the recipient, even if we are called by phone.

Q: Who will deliver the balloons?
A: Balloons will be delivered via Royal Mail.

Q: What if I am not in when the post man delivers the item?
A: A card will be posted through your door giving instructions to arrange to collect from your local sorting office or to arrange re-delivery with Royal Mail.

Q: At what time will my balloon(s) be delivered?
A: This all depends on what delivery service you have chosen or want to choose, see our DELIVERY INFORMATION for additional infomation.

Q: Can I arrange for the delivery to be left in a porch if I am not in?
A: No, sorry! a signature is required for this delivery service.

Q: What if I need to change my address? Is this possible?
A: Yes, it is possible to change your address. Please note if delivery has already been dispatched, no details can be altered, contact us as soon as possible to inform us of any changes to avoid disappointment.

Q: What does NABAS mean?
A: NABAS stands for the National Association of Balloons Artists and Suppliers. It is an Independent National Trade Association for wholesalers, retailers, suppliers etc of balloon related services, theballoonshop.co.uk  adheres to their industry standards and guidelines.

Q: Do you offer a Saturday delivery?
A: Yes! At an additional cost. All our parcels can be delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery, this is a guaranteed delivery next day available Monday to Saturday.

Q: Can I order a balloon for delivery next month?
A: Yes!  You can pre order your balloons 12 months in advance if you require. Place your order, tell us the date(s) and we will take care of the rest. We can even contact you 48 hours before to remind you that theballoonshop.co.uk hasn’t forgotten!

Q: Will I get acknowledgement for my order?
A: Once you have placed your order and payment has been made, Worldpay will acknowledge your payment and they will contact you with an email confirming transaction reference, stating payment has been accepted.

Q: Can you send orders to business premises as well as residential?
A: No problem! But please be aware to include as much information in detail as possible as to whom the delivery is going to (department, floor, extension number, full name etc) failing to provide  this relevant piece of information could end up delaying the parcel to be passed on to the relevant recipient.

Q: What will my Balloon in a box look like?
A: The balloon is placed in a box, in which the bottom is lined with coloured tissue paper. Sparkling confetti is sprinkled inside together with your free chocolates, party poppers, blow outs and any other gift products selected along with your printed message.  Safely packaged we will complete the box with a ribbon and bow, including the tissue paper these will be colour coordinated.  Once complete it will be dispatched by next day delivery with Royal Mail to arrive on the day of your choice.

Q: How long will my balloon(s) last?
A: It all depends on what kind of environment the balloon(s) are kept in.  A change in temperature can effect whether the balloon stays up or goes down. Balloons can deflate when there is a drop in temperature, for example over night, but as the temperature increases helium expands too so the balloon(s) will stay up for longer. 
Foil balloons usually remain inflated for roughly 7 days.

Q: Can I order a balloon in a box gift for delivery overseas ?
A:
No. We cannot send inflated helium balloons overseas as the change in air pressure on the aeroplane will cause the inflated balloon to burst and ruin your gift !
